369 video, streaming, short-form, short drama and AI video players and regulatory milestones across the US, Europe, Japan, China (Greater China), Korea and the rest of the world (India, Southeast Asia, Middle East, Latin America, Russia, Africa, Canada, Australia) in a single interactive table. Corporate revenue entities and consumer services (MAU, subscribers) are listed on separate rows; filter and sort by region, value-chain category (13), generation (Cinema → AI), origin (Legacy Media ↔ Big Tech ↔ Internet Native), screen, content genre, revenue model and ownership. Every metric carries a source verdict (✔ primary filing or official disclosure / △ press report, estimate or research agency / ✘ refuted).
Because money flows differently depending on where a player sits in the video value chain (hosting user uploads, running vertical short feeds, charging monthly subscriptions, streaming free ad-supported channels, owning broadcast spectrum and cable pipes, producing and licensing shows, operating movie theaters, selling 1-minute micro-drama episodes, creating content, controlling the TV home screen, generating video with AI, or selling SaaS/ad-tech infrastructure), we divide the industry into 13 categories. Generation (Cinema → Broadcast → Home Video → Web UGC → Subscription OTT → Short-Form → Short Drama · FAST → AI) tracks when and how a business scaled, while Origin separates legacy incumbents from insurgents — Disney+ is "Subscription OTT" by generation but "Legacy Media" by origin, whereas YouTube is "Big Tech." AI video tools are isolated in Category ⑪ and Generation "AI" (grouped under their operating headquarters country), while AI adoption by incumbents is noted in each row's "Recent trends." In the Korea and Japan sections, we also include local usage rows for overseas platforms (e.g., YouTube Korea Usage, Netflix Japan Usage) so domestic market share can be compared directly.

Scale tiers are rough buckets based on a single headline metric. MAU definitions vary by company (logged-in users, app opens, unique browsers), and Netflix & Disney+ stopped reporting subscriber counts in 2025–2026 (showing their last disclosed figures). Mobile usage in Korea, Japan and China often relies on third-party panels (WiseApp, Mobile Index, QuestMobile). Quarterly×4 annualized revenue rows are noted in the metric column.
Monthly share of US television-screen viewing time from Nielsen The Gauge. Only months where all six buckets were verified are plotted below — 2025-03, 05, 11 and 2026-02, 03, 07 are omitted from the bar chart. See the headline numbers above for July 2026 (YouTube 14.2%, total streaming 49.0%, cable 18.7% all-time low). Research agency data (△).
